I found a job ad posted in Handshake, but I cannot apply

Recruiters can set criteria for the students who will be eligible to apply. Sometimes you can see the job, but also see that you are not eligible.

Employers often screen candidates on the following criteria: degree, major, graduation date, GPA, work authorization and experience. If you cannot apply for a job that means you do not meet some aspect of the criteria the Employer is requesting. Continue to utilize your Handshake account for other opportunities that you are eligible for.

Workaround: If you are unable to apply through Handshake, you may be eligible to apply on the employer website. Note the requirements criteria would still need to be met to apply.
