What should I put on the application when it asks for my desired salary?

Before deciding, research industry trends, check UTD program website for salary information, LaunchMyCareertx.org, Glassdoor.com (often inflated self reported), Indeed.com/salary, PayScale.com, Salary.com, BLS.gov. 

While it may be easier to ask ChatGPT or AI, know that the recommendation may not be accurate.  Use these additional resources to check the validity of the recommendation, and determine a salary range to put in the application.
