Are interns paid?

Employers are recommended to refer to the Department of Labor guidelines regarding payment for students. In general, “for-profit” companies pay the market rate for interns. In the business school, we follow these DOL guidelines, and only approve paid internship posts on Handshake, with the exception of not-for-profits.
